about
Music for art installation we did together with Hardijs Ledins. Circa 2000. (Thanks to this Swedish art curator whoever he was for setting up our piece in that "Baltic Security" art exhibition in airport of Stockholm while we were still under influence by liquids we drunk on previous night and temporary out of work. Some called it "requiem to SAS".)
lyrics
Lyrics - I guess, stolen from Biosphere.

released January 29, 2015
Track credits:
Drums sample - stolen from an old Greek folk music recording.
Guitar sample - stolen from Fripp/Eno "Evening star".
Korg theme - heavily inspired by Arvo Part "Cantus..."
Casio - played like it could be done by Robert Wyatt on "Alifib" recording sessions.
It was beginning of "ideal standard" concept or our own composing technique: little bit from Part, little bit from Eno and Fripp, little bit from Wyatt, little bit from world music, little bit of found texts... Little bit from everything but us.
Composed by Kaspars Rolsteins and Hardijs Ledins.
Hardijs Ledins - voice, text idea, Casio.
Kaspars Rolsteins - Korg, samples.
Recorded, processed, produced by Kaspars Rolsteins (2000).
